We got up fairly early today as Boy Wonder was going to a play session at Club Inspire. We got ready, made his packed lunch and left. Cat Girl and I were going to the Dentist afterwards for a check up. As we dropped Boy Wonder off, Cat Girl became very pale and said that she felt sick. Not looking too great, I rang the dentist and asked them if I should bring her? Absolutely not was the gist of the response so we got away with it for another day! I took her to Grandad's for a chill day and went to work.
This evening we went trick or treating with a group of friends around one of the local estates. There must have been about fifty children out on this estate, it was so busy! Boy Wonder was very on edge, running off in front, shouting and generally becoming overstimulated by the whole thing. He finished the evening by running off and hiding behind a hedge as he had missed a house where the smaller children had been given a few coppers. Shortly after we returned home and whilst I went to the local pub for pre birthday drinks, Boy Wonder semi settled in his room awaiting my return !
The following morning Boy Wonder was woken by Cat Girl to wish me a happy birthday!! They had made some wonderful cards and bought me a very nice jumper and some fabulous wellies ( too nice to do the gardening in!) We then got up and ready as Boy Wonder was spending the day with his. 1:1 worker, going swimming.
Boy Wonder appeared to enjoy his and later family came over for take away. He played with his cousin, mainly on Minecraft and came downstairs only when he had bitten off his wart on his hand again and it was bleeding quite a bit!
After some tea and more play everyone went home and Boy Wonder went back upstairs to finidh Minecraft. After an hour he fell to sleep. A tired boy!
