Pointless Project!

Back to school today. It all started in the usual fashion - refusal to get up, an age to get him out of the shower and attempting breakfast whilst bouncing off of the walls.

We arrived at school and had a quick catch up with his teacher before the bell went. Boy Wonder was  in high spirits but had written in his star and a wish book before school that he wished there was no school.

Today Boy Wonder had art therapy in the afternoon. He stated that he enjoyed the session as they are making a puppet theatre. He doesn't give much away as to what they talk about but he certainly comes out chilled and free of anxiety so it is doing something right!

There was no football today so Boy Wonder came home first before swimming. We collected Cat Girl from after school club a little later and went swimming. They both did well in their lessons .

Later this evening we asked Boy Wonder how his first day back at school was? He stated that it was boring and the new project was boring, I asked him what the project was and he stated ' Shadows! What's the point in that?! A shadow is created from the shape of the object which is blocking the sun's rays and that's it, project done!' Oh, I said.

Boy Wonder settled down and watched Horrible Histories before bed. He seems fairly settled for a first day back, got to love art therapy!
