The intensity of the day before spilt into today and the morning routine was again turned on its head. How we got to school this morning is anyone's guess! I spoke with his teacher briefly about yesterday evening before leaving them to their day.
I picked Boy Wonder and Cat Girl up after school. Boy Wonder was reported to have been quite low in mood today. He was also very tetchy and generally unsettled when I got there. He had ripped the buttons off of his polo shirt and torn the bottom of one trouser leg and wrapped it around his big toe and foot inside his shoe. It looked very painful. I unravelled him and reassured him that it was okay as by this point he was becoming panicky about getting in trouble. I asked Boy Wonder why he had ripped his clothes and he replied that he was bored and angry but wouldn't disclose anything further.
We went home, got changed and went over to music theatre group. Cat Girl went to Jiu Jitsu. Boy Wonder seemed a bit happier by now but not in a settled way. He seemed to be struggling to concentrate at all.
On arrival home, Super Man spoke to Boy Wonder about his uniform and told him that it was wrong to do what he did. Later on Boy Wonder told me that he wasn't bored or angry but did it to impress his girlfriend. I asked him what she thought about what he did and he stated that she didn't think anything as she didn't see him do it. Okay so he was bored and angry but was trying to find a better reason for doing what he did!
It was another late night tonight for Boy Wonder as he couldn't settle. I would love to know what goes on in his head!
