An early start to the day due the Jiu Jitsu competition starting at 9am meant that we were all up early and ready to go. Cat Girl was first up in her Sumo competition and out of ten she came joint third and won a bronze medal. She was one of the smallest and the only girl so it was a fabulous effort. Well done sweetie.
Boy Wonder entered all four competitions and worked very hard. Unfortunately the length of the competition took its toll and he struggled to remain focused and motivated. The pressure of the competition also didn't help and with it being his first he didn't know what to expect. A lot of the children received numerous medals but although Boy Wonder tried hard it just wasn't to be for him. A real shame and a huge knock to his confidence. Boy Wonder said that he felt sad.
We arrived home and Boy Wonder went to his bedroom to play Minecraft. He stayed there for quite a while, until I called him for tea . He ate little and went back to his game. I made him a special pudding of chocolate angel delight, cream and sprinkles which made him smile.
The Grandparents visited this evening and Boy Wonder came downstairs. He seemed a bit brighter but was quick to anger and volatile throughout the evening. Super Man has promised him a bike ride in the morning which cheered him up and after watching TV for a while he started to settle down.
Well done cg, shame bw didn't get any placings but well done to both for competing. Xx
