It was after midnight when Boy Wonder settled last night. Before going to sleep he kindly set his alarm for 6am for it to sing One Direction at full pelt. Well it woke us but not Boy Wonder who slept through it somehow!
It was Pyjama day at school today for Children in Need. Not much could go wrong there then? Well, to start with it took me at least half an hour to convince Boy Wonder that pants WERE required. Yes I do know that he wouldn't usually wear pants with P.Js but he needs to wear them for school. I am still not convinced that he fully understood but he did accept my instruction eventually! We then had to put a stitch or several on the waistband as the trousers were clearly not going to stay up on his skinny little frame. Eventually we left for school!
They both had a good day as it was an activity day so no pressure for Boy Wonder. He was nicely content in his fleece pj's which possibly contributed to his good day. We arranged a meeting with school to discuss the statement refusal, for in a week's time. We should have a few more things to add to the mix then too like O.T assessments and art therapy sessions.
He watched Children in Need this evening and got upset when a boy had a skiing accident but enjoyed the bulk of it. Boy Wonder is still awake as I write this blog but seems settled.
I remember the same conversation with mine about pants under ph's - I'm sure any child would be confused with that ha ha xxx
