My Mum the First Aider!

Superman had the pleasure of taking the children to school this morning as he had a Govenor meeting. He went to the gym early and arrived home at 7.45am. I started to get Boy Wonder and Cat Girl up. I thought I would just make a start, do the medication, Cat Girl's bandage and then Superman could take over but by the time he returned they were practically up and sorted. Why can't it be like that every day?! I left at 8am to go to work, leaving them to get on with it.

Superman was also on pick up from school duty so I didn't see them until I returned from work. Boy Wonder had got a splinter in his hand at school and had been very worried about it. The teacher had volunteered to get it out for him but he stated that 'My mum is a qualified first aides,  she will know what to do?!' Such faith !

This evening I took Boy Wonder to his last show and he was very excitable. Once on stage he managed to contain it in most part and did really well. They will be singing the songs again at the Carol concert next month. Boy Wonder was the Toy Maker and sang elements of the song as a solo.  The older girl singing other parts of the song got her lines right tonight which was a relief ! Not because anyone noticed the prsvious night but because Boy Wonder pointed out her what mistakes she had made and what she should have said!

We stayed behind after the show for the disco and to see Super Gran and co who had been to watch.  They said that they enjoyed it and that he did well . Boy Wonder spent the next half an hour racing around before we left for home.

Boy Wonder settled down with his DS when we got home. Cat Girl was already asleep.

Sozzled on Sherry!

A morning much like every other school morning except a very tired Cat Girl made double the work. Shouldn't complain though as she is usually fairly easy! Boy Wonder required a firm tone to try and get him to settle down but as always this is in vain except for he fact that it makes me feel a bit better!!

The school day started off in 'wild child' mode but they managed to rein him in eventually. When I picked them up however, Boy Wonder was angry. He told me that he is missing the school football match because of silly dance and silly show! I explained that we had spoken about this and I thought he understood? He said that he did but wasn't happy because the boys would laugh at him for dancing.

I spoke to Boy Wonder about dance not being a girl thing and that you have to be very fit to dance. I went on to explain to him that on Strictly Come Dancing that he watches, footballers and rugby players dance and that they wouldn't be picked on! I finally said that if he makes it to the West End he would be the one laughing then! Yes okay so I went into a rant but it would be heartbreaking for him to give up because of  what he thinks other boys might think. Anyway by the time I had done he was smiling and raring to go.

He did well at dance today and is ready for his tap and theatre craft exams on Sunday. We then went over to the cousins for an hour before going to his performance. They played Mine Craft whilst Cat Girl and little cousin played 'holidays!'

We left just before 7pm and drove over to the theatre. He practised his lines and then stopped and looked confused. I asked him what was the matter and he said that he didnt know what 'sozzled' meant. this was one of his words that he has to say. I explained that it meant drunk. ' Oh that makes sense then!' he said 'What is Sherry?' It took a while but we got there!  Boy Wonder got ready and we went to sit down. I know that I am biased but he was fabulous. He sang loud and clear and put everything into it. They were all fabulous and most of the audience were teary eyed! Afterwards everyone stayed for coffee/ wine and mince pies whilst the kids danced to a mini disco.

We left just after 8.30 and got the kids home to settle down. Boy Wonder did his usual 'who forgot what line'  list but told me not to worry as he had told them! With his usual 'tact' I hope!

Boy Wonder and Cat Girl had half an hour with their Ds's before going to sleep.

A funny old night!!

Both seemed tired and reluctant to get up this morning, even the kittens were failing to rouse them! Eventually we got there and after showering and dressing Boy Wonder as he was unable to focus for long enough to do it himself; we went down for breakfast. After a lot more 'all over the placeness' we left for school.

At school we handed Cat Girl's party invites to her teacher to check that we hadn't missed anyone ( she told me later that we had missed 3!) and then went to see Boy Wonder's teacher to check in.

I picked them up after school and Boy Wonder seemed on edge. He put his leg out in front of Cat Girl as she was running towards the steps. I stopped him just in time, that could have been nasty. I asked Boy Wonder why he did it and he said that he needed to stop her as she shouldn't be running. I explained to him what could have happened and that he could have really hurt her. He said that he didn't mean to hurt her, just stop her.

We drove straight to Ju Jitsu via MacDonalds and ate Happy Meals in the car before dropping Cat Girl off. It was a slight change in routine today as I was going to stay with Boy Wonder to support during the dress rehearsal for the Christmas show.  Whilst in the car I asked Boy Winder about his day and if any of his friends had been upset ( a tip off I received!) He told me that two of his friends had fell out and were not nice to each other. He was clear that he wasn't involved but didn't know how to deal with it. This  would explain the tetchy mood. I reassured him that tomorrow is a different day and that I am sure it will be forgotten ( maybe.)

Boy Wonder got ready for the show once we got there and all in all it went very well. They are certainly a talented bunch of children and teachers. After the dress rehearsal we came home and settled down.

Boy Wonder sat down with his DS and Cat Girl went to get her pjs on. She then started to throw a massive paddy about onsies being too hot and pjs being too cold! This went on forever and she screamed, banged on the floor, shouted ...... Boy Wonder was shocked by such behaviour! 'Whatever is the matter with her?' He said. I explained the hot, cold problem to him and he said ' What else is there to put on?' Exactly my point!! I explained to Boy Wonder that she is probably just tired and he thought this was odd ' Why doesn't she just go to bed then ?' Such a simple solution !

After about half an hour Cat Girl calmed down, she chose the original pjs and settled into bed and I read her the same book I read her every night. She was soon asleep.

Boy Wonder took longer to settle but at about 10pm all went quiet and Super Man found him on the landing wrapped in a blanket. He moved him off to bed and eventually he fell to sleep.

Tummy ache and sore thumb!

A morning of the usual madness with the added extra of bandaging Cat Girl's hand and reassuring Boy Wonder that she is okay really!! We arrived at school and got them sorted , explaining to Cat Girl and her teacher that when washing her hands there really was no need to wash her bandage!

Boy Wonder stayed after school for science club and Cat Girl for after school club. His teacher reported that he had been complaining of tummy ache most of the afternoon but it appeared to be more anxiety lead than actual illness. There had been a change to the class schedule to Include carol practice. It may have contributed to him feeling anxious.

We went straight to piano after the clubs which went well. Boy Wonder then got ready for his Ju Jitsu grading which was being held in class time due to Sensi not being available at the weekend. Boy Wonder did really well and put a lot of effort in to his demonstrations. He is now a green belt with black stripe. We made our apologies for Boy Wonder not being able to attend for the rest of the week due to his Christmas performance at his drama club. We also asked if Cat Girl can attend with a bruised thumb, which they agreed would be okay but they would restrict some activities if necessary.

We arrived home about 8pm and settled Boy Wonder and Cat Girl down for bed. Both looked really tired tonight so hopefully they will sleep! Boy Wonder didn't complain further about tummy ache although did acknowledge that he had it earlier in the afternoon.

A meeting of some progress

Superman joined me in the school morning routine today as we had a school meeting first thing. He prepared Boy Wonder yesterday with how it will ' work' in the morning but oh how it didn't!! Superman isn't at all nieve about how difficult it can be to keep Boy Wonder on task but he was quite surprised how difficult he can be under a time constraint.

We arrived at school and I spoke with Cat Girl's teacher about her thumb and how unsettled Boy Wonder is about it and to keep an eye on them. Superman had the same conversation with Boy Wonder's teacher.

We met with the head, senco( and teacher ) and inclusion officer today to discuss the note in lieu. We didn't hold out too much hope regarding this meeting but were pleasantly surprised in most part. For the first time the Inclusion Officer used the word 'Autism' and Boy Wonder in the same sentence! She did attempt to quote text book delivery of anxiety management to us which didn't go down to well as I tried to explain to her that anxiety management for individuals with autism is totally different than anxiety management in isolation. She responded by asking how I knew that to which I replied ' because I live with him!' Maybe not the best response but it certainly made my point.  The actions agreed were that they would support the O.T assessment / report ( now that we had made it clear that the O.T is a specialist in autism and sensory integration within schools , not just someone we dragged off the street !) and work with its recommendations along with the Autism advisor and ed psych. Additionally they agreed to additional 1:1 time in the afternoon to discuss emotional and social anxieties and to put in a quiet time at the end of the day to remove him from the end of school  'madness.'  The autism advisor will also be contacted to support with transference of skills within school and to input into the O .T assessment.  In return we agreed to have the next review in January and hold back on taking the note in lieu to appeal until the school had the opportunity to address everything discussed. We will make a final decision here a couple of weeks before the deadline based on the progress made.

The rest of the day was fairly non eventful. Boy Wonder enjoyed his art therapy and double football. The local team training seems to be a lot more structured and suitable for his needs than it once was.

Cat Girl is now sporting a very bruised, fat thumb which is bothering her quite a bit.  Boy Wonder had been over the top with his concern and ' looking after her.'

Both went to bed quite early tonight, however Boy Wonder became quite panicky over noises that he could hear, thinking they were burglars. He finally got to sleep at 10.15pm.

Treasure Trail Fun

We decided on a treasure hunt today to give Superman an opportunity to take out his car and to get some fresh air. The treasure hunt was an online Company where you find the one you want to do and then pay a nominal fee. They then send you it in a download or through the post if you prefer.

We aimed to get up and out for 10am but it was more like 10.30am by time we got in the car. Boy Wonder struggled with the concept of the treasure hunt and asked countless questions like ' what if someone else takes the clues before us?' ' how many people will be there?'how do you know it will only be us?' We tried to explain to him that it wasn't quite like other treasure hunts that we had done.

Cat Girl was only bothered about whether or not there would be chocolate at the end! We got there and didn't really know what to expect or even if the kids would get it. However, the whole thing was fabulous. Boy Wonder really got into it once he visualised it and Cat Girl got quite a few of the clues. We walked around the fabulous village of Ashton in The Water and found the answers to the clues etched on old stone buildings and bridges. This was combined with a few snippets of local history which even made skulking around a grave yard interesting! Part way through we stopped off at the village shop for cake and sausage rolls and then went there again at the end for a sweetie reward! We submitted our answer to where the treasure was buried on line and got it right! We have now been entered into a prize draw to win £1000.00 but won't be holding our breath!

We arrived home about 1.30pm and started to prepare dinner for sister and family visiting. We had a lovely afternoon that consisted  of the children playing nicely, Boy Wonder and big cousin mainly playing on Minecraft  and listening to music and Cat Girl and little cousin playing teddy bears picnic and dolls house. We had dinner and chatted, lit the log burner to cosy up from the wintry weather outside and had a drink. The evening resulted in little cousin banging her head a couple of times and Cat Girl jarring her thumb.

We started to settle the children down for bed after our visitors left and noticed that Cat Girl's thumb was becoming quite swollen and she had limited movement. We put an ice pack on it but after 20 minutes it still looked like it was swelling further. Superman, to be on the safe side took her down to the hospital to be checked out. I settled Boy Wonder into bed but he became distressed about Cat Girl , saying that he was very worried. He had picked his mouse mat up that has a picture of himself and Cat Girl on it and took it to bed with him. I reassured him that she is fine and would be home soon.

Cat Girl returned from hospital at 10pm with a badly bruised/ swollen thumb. No fracture luckily so that's a relief. I told Boy Wonder the news who was clearly relieved but then became preoccupied with the detail of bandages and what it would look like! We spoke about it at length and he then went back to reading his book.  Tired grumpy children in the morning I think!

A quiet day....

A struggle to get up this morning as Boy Wonder was tired. He had a steady morning resting whilst Cat Girl and I went to her Ju Jitsu grading and then shopping.

Cat Girl did really well at her grading, receiving an anti bullying badge and then demonstrated a kata and a side break fall sliding kick. Her confidence has really come on which is great.

Boy Wonder went out this afternoon to the fire engine museum with his worker and seemed to enjoy it. He also went to Pizza Hut which he liked. In the meantime,Cat Girl and I went shopping for dolls house dolls and Super Man went to fetch his new car. A busy afternoon!

Cat Girl and I arrived home first and then Superman with the car ( that has gears!) and we took it a little drive. I am not used to cars that don't drive themselves anymore, needless to say, Superman was very on edge as I kept forgetting to change gear!

Boy Wonder returned from his trip and we were told that he had fun and he agreed to this statement, however spoke no more about it ! The rest of the evening he was quiet, a little argumentative if things weren't quite right but generally settled.

Grandparents visited, Dr Who was watched and he went off to bed to read. When we came up to bed at 10.30 he was asleep , result!! Don't want to speak too soon but maybe things are starting to settle for him.

A Busy Friday

A quick rush this morning to get up and get everything to the school in preparation for the Christmas Fayre. We arrived at school and parked in the teacher car park and after convincing Boy Wonder that I had permission to do this ( I actually did seek permission!) he calmed and helped me move the boxes into the school with Cat Girl and friends that we spotted waiting to go into school.

Cat Girl was up got a star award in assembly, Boy Wonder was on the Golden Table for good manners and chose his girlfriend to sit with him  and they both showed certificates and medals. Cat Girl didn't want to stand up in assembly to show her Sumo medal so it was done whilst she sat. Boy Wonder however was happy to talk about his 200 metre swimming certificate!  Cat Girl received her award for excellent letters and sounds work. ( I think that means reading!)

I arrived back at school to help set up for the school Christmas Fayre. The next four hours were a bit of a blur. It was manic, hectic, loud and lots of fun. Boy Wonder entered into the spirit of it and generally coped fairly well. He had his own wallet so just Went round spending bits of money on random items.

The fayre was good fun but tiring. We stopped off at a chinese takeaway on the way home and then arrived home to chill.

Boy wonder seemed high yet tetchy this evening. It has been a busy day!!

Early Start

It was an early start this morning as we had to leave the house for 7.30am to get to the hospital appointment for Boy Wonder. It was like mission impossible as Boy Wonder didn't get to sleep until around midnight.

We dropped Cat Girl off at the Super Gran's and drove to the hospital. The morning city traffic was a nightmare and we arrived with five minutes to spare.  The Doctor saw us straight away and we spoke about the recent difficulties and the ADHD medication increase. The reality is that yes,  Boy Wonder is clearly struggling with anxiety, impulsivity and processing etc. which is also manifesting itself in physical symptoms such as sleeplessness, incontinence, stomach aches and headaches. But what do we do? The answer isn't to keep increasing the medication as symptoms ease in all areas during school holidays and even a fair amount at weekends. But neither can we sit back and allow him to feel this disjointed and anxious. I explained that we found it difficult that our eight year old boy had to be physically washed, dressed and supported to eat most mornings, not because he can't do it but because he cannot focus enough to do it.  The Doctor said that she would add a small amount of medication as an evening dose to give the melatonin a fighting chance of working. At the moment the ADHD meds are wearing off as he is taking the melatonin so it is fighting an uphill battle and loosing ! We went on to speak about the refused statement and she said that she was more than happy to support Boy Wonder further with pursuing this rejection as would be the lead Consultant.

We got to school at 10.30am and dropped him off with a copy of the note in lieu they had been requested. He was reported to have a reasonable rest of the day at school.

We went straight on to MacDonalds and Jiu Jitsui after school. He was in an okay mood although had become upset at school when Cat Girl had fell over and hurt her knees. He seemed to disengage from talking about this.

Boy Wonder spent the evening at Jiu Jitsu and on return was high and giddy. He made a milkshake and whilst sat holding it, dropped it into his lap without appearing the notice, although was wet through! I got him changed and settled him into bed. Fingers crossed for a bit of sleep!

It's not funny! ( I know!)

A morning like every other school day morning resulted in a twist, torrential rain! Just as we were leaving the house the heavens opened and we got drenched just going to the car.

We got to school looking like drowned rats and I then unleashed my moan on the poor teaching assistant about the previous day. She said that she would pass on my concerns and was very empathetic about the situation. She also commented that he did appear unsettled yesterday and not his usual self.

It was a short day at work today then back for school pick up. On collecting the children Boy Wonder overheard a parent telling me about his youngest putting a stone in his ear and needing a trip to hospital to deal with it. As we got in the car Boy Wonder started firing endless questions at me regarding the exact procedure required for stone out of ear removal and basically wanted to know precise details. I attempted to play it down to calm him but was then accused of not caring. I said that I cared very much and hoped he was okay but I really couldn't answer his questions in the detail he required. I then gave him a reassuring smile. Boy Wonder responded by shouting at me that it wasn't funny!! I give up !

Boy Wonder appears to have lost all ability to read expression and process matters. This has never been his strong point but he can usually read familiar faces. This tends to happen when anxiety hits and his head becomes fuzzed.

We had tea and went off to drama where Boy Wonder seemed very high and making squeaking noises! It's his show next week so hopefully he will be more level by then!

At home Boy Wonder settled fairly early with his cat in his hammock, rocking side to side whilst reading a book.

Boy Wonder has an appointment with the paediatrician tomorrow to review his medication and ADHD presentation. I think we will have plenty to discuss, luckily she is a very clued up specialist. Boy Wonder is very fortunate to have such a good medical support.

Lipsal Hair Gel

Cat Girl woke up this morning with an horrendous cough. It came out of nowhere as she was fine yesterday! Her temperature was slightly raised so I gave her 'pink' medicine and after a short while she began to perk up.

Boy Wonder was then woken up and put in the shower. When I went back into him, he had curled up on the shower floor and was attemping to go to sleep! I got him out and helped to dry and dress him but as I did so, Boy Wonder complained of feeling dizzy. These children are falling apart today!

We went downstairs for breakfast and Boy Wonder become higher and higher and tetchy with it. He was obviously tired. Cat Girl looked a bit brighter now.

The bell went as we walked through the school gates so I quickly ushered them in and left. At around lunch time I received a text from a parent/ friend to ask if I was aware that Boy Wonder's class had a supply teacher today and a new one at that? I wasn't aware and thanked him for the warning!

When I picked Boy Wonder up I was asked to come into the classroom. I was given a piece of paper from the teaching assistant that said Boy Wonder had been agitated today, possibly due to the supply teacher. In the afternoon he had used lipsal to 'gel' his hair. I explained that we were unaware of the supply teacher and it is highly likely that Boy Wonder has reacted because of this.

We left to go to piano and Boy Wonder stated that he had tummy ache and had had it all day. I asked him about his day and he told me that the supply teacher was cool because he could do what he wanted but the routine was changed and he got bored. As the journey continued he became very verbally aggressive ( snappy) and couldn't tolerate talking at all.

Boy Wonder attended piano and then Jiu Jutsu with little problem. He seemed to like the routine of it.     Afterwards Superman  picked him up and they came home to watch football.   Boy Wonder sat in his hammock watching football, shouting orders at the players, the best being ' Go on Gerrard, what do you think you are doing? I will not tolerate that!'

Eventually he went to sleep with the chorus of Cat Girl coughing!

Hecklers.!!

A typical school morning of struggling to motivate Boy Wonder to get up and then battling to get him to shower, dress and eat breakfast.

We arrived at school just before the bell and spoke to his teacher about the weekend events. Namely that he had done his project with little prompting and the little matter of the soft play incident.

I picked Boy Wonder up at 1.30pm for his art therapy review. He appeared quite chilled which was nice but although he understood that I was coming to talk to his art therapist, once we got in the room he went about his work and wouldn't entertain time out to talk. I was clearly in the way. We agreed that the sessions would continue as they were having a positive affect on him by there being little to no anxiety in the evenings after the sessions. Although we haven't yet worked out exactly why this happens, we agreed that it is certainly worth carrying on. I also made a point of telling the therapist that last night was the first time that Boy Wonder has ever instigated art or craft of any kind at home and made a wonderful picture of a dolphin!

Whilst Boy Wonder finished his art session I waited in the waiting room. The phone rang and it was the Occupational Therapist. She arranged to visit Boy Wonder at school and then at home on the 9th December for the sensory assessment. I am looking forward to the outcome of this as he has never had an O.T assessment before and I have a feeling that it could be quite insightful.

We returned to school after the session just in time to start football practice. Boy Wonder was team captain today and seemed to enjoy this. The coach was very keen to see if Boy Wonder was going to the football training later as discussed last week. I said yes and he reassured me that it would be structured and good for him.

Super Man took Boy Wonder to football training whilst I took Cat Girl swimming. We then hurried back to go and see a friend perform in a Christmas performance at the local theatre.

The performance was 'The Christmas Carol,' they did very well and we enjoyed it. The children sat well and watched. Unfortunately we had a couple of loud, intoxicated women behind us who laughed loudly, heckled and generally spoke all the way through it. Boy Wonder was very confused by their behaviour and asked a lot if questions after! I spoke the ladies in the interval and asked them to settle down but still they continued!

We arrived home at just after 10pm, Cat Girl already asleep and Boy Wonder reasonably settled. We got them into bed and relaxed!!

Do You Know That Man?!

Whilst the household was still asleep I managed to get some work done, but before long Boy Wonder was up and racing around. I had hoped for him to have a little lie in but no! After a while he settled in his little hammock that he has made out of a teddy hammock and cocooned himself. Here he stayed and watched TV , singing loudly and rocking.

Super Man took Boy Wonder and Cat Girl down to the park this morning on their bikes whilst I did a bit more work and then prepared dinner . Super Mam saw a family that he knew whilst there and sat talking to the man whilst the children played. Boy Wonder came over after a few minutes with a concerned look on his face and said ' Do you know this man?' Super Man reassured him that he did although said to me later that he thought it was obvious! Clearly not.

On returning home we had lunch and Boy Wonder and Cat Girl played outside with the kittens and some children off of the street. They played nicely until it got a bit dark and then came in for dinner. The Grandparents came round for dinner ( two sets of them ) and Boy Wonder entertained them with his usual joke book reading. It always amuses how he reads them with such a straight face whilst others laugh at them.

We all did some wrapping of gifts for the school Christmas fayre and Cat Girl kept us all going with her insistent tones of ' work harder men, work harder!' Boy Wonder opted out and played on his DS. He did insist on helping though after we had finished do found something to wrap and added it to the pile,

This evening as Cat Girl settled down in bed and Boy Wonder took to creating a picture of One Direction riding a Dolphin in the sea. He added shadows to it and decided to use it for his school home work project. That was easy then!

He settled down and played Mine Craft before bed.

Soft Play Prisoners!

Boy Wonder didn't wake until 10.15am which allowed him to catch up on some much needed sleep. He got up, had a shower and got ready for dance. He was very high on waking and difficult to engage but eventually we got there.

Whilst at dance, Cat Girl and I did the food shopping before collecting Boy Wonder to come home. We had some lunch and then Super Gran took them to a soft play so I could write an AGM report needed for next week. I managed to get half of it done so was quite impressed!

When they returned from soft play, Super Gran reported that Boy Wonder had been involved in a bit of a situation with a couple of girls. He had apparently threatened to kick them in the head and they had told their mum. However Boy Wonder said sorry when asked so it ended swiftly. Call me a synic  but I wasn't totally convinced that, that was the whole story and neither was Super Gran really. I spoke with Boy Wonder a bit later about it and he told me that he had trapped the girl in the big balls ( big inflatable yoga balls) as she was in his space, so he took her prisoner. He did this to the other girl too. They got upset so he let them go and one girl kicked him in the leg. He responded by saying that he would kick then in the head so they ran off and told their mum. I asked Boy Wonder if he knew what he did was wrong and he said yes because they got upset. I asked him if he knew it was wrong before he did it and he said no, he was just getting them out of his way. I suppose we should be grateful that he responded to their upset at least!

On return home Boy Wonder played on Mine Craft for a while, had tea and then we went off to a family quiz night at the new big kids school. They have built in an Autism Resource Centre here so I was very keen to have a look. Boy Wonder seemed to be struggling more and more to process as the day went on, repeatedly asking questions and clarifying things.

We picked up Super Gran and arrived at the school for around 7pm, equipped with electronic games for Boy Wonder, Cat Girl and their friends also brought theirs. We asked to look at the autism resource centre (ARC) and the Head took us round. Boy Wonder liked the work stations particularly. It was a good space but out of a school of potentially 800 children there are 15 spaces for children with autistic spectrum conditions, a little optimistic, however they do have 'dip in, dip out' options and additional spaces for special needs in general so it may work. We then joined the tour of the school and Boy Wonder became quickly fasinated by the theatre and moveable stage and asked a lot of questions.  He also couldn't work out why there was no play equipment!

We started the quiz which was in several different parts and lasted for nearly three hours. The children did well to behave for that long and did partake in the student 's quiz and came second! We came about tenth but enjoyed it so we were happy! Boy Wonder became unsettled at times bit the quiz master seemed to unwittingly distract him by asking him to go little jobs for him which helped.

We arrived home at 11.30pm with the intention of going straight to bed. Super Man, who had been out for the day with friends was home before us and was watching Pirates of  The Carribean so Boy Wonder chose to watch this with him. Boy Wonder kept asking Super Man why he was speaking funny? Super Man was a little tipsy!

Everyone finally settled just after midnight and is still sleeping now. I think I will take the opportunity to continue with my AGM report !!

Pants ?!

It was after midnight when Boy Wonder settled last night. Before going to sleep he kindly set his alarm for 6am for it to sing One Direction at full pelt. Well it woke us but not Boy Wonder who slept through it somehow!

It was Pyjama day at school today for Children in Need. Not much could go wrong there then? Well, to start with it took me at least half an hour to convince Boy Wonder that pants WERE required. Yes I do know that he wouldn't usually wear pants with P.Js but he needs to wear them for school. I am still not convinced that he fully understood but he did accept my instruction eventually! We then had to put a stitch or several on the waistband as the trousers were clearly not going to stay up on his skinny little frame.   Eventually we left for school!

They both had a good day as it was an activity day so no pressure for Boy Wonder. He was nicely content in his fleece pj's which possibly contributed to his good day. We arranged a meeting with school to discuss the statement refusal, for in a week's time. We should have a few more things to add to the mix then too like O.T assessments and art therapy sessions.

He watched Children in Need this evening and got upset when a boy had a skiing accident but enjoyed the bulk of it.  Boy Wonder is still awake as I write this blog but seems settled.

A day of reflection ....

It's been a tough couple of months resulting in a major blow out on Tuesday that we should have seen coming and quite honestly rendered us helpless and hopeless for a short time. I think sometimes we get so used to managing complex needs that we miss the little triggers that tell us that the volcano is going to erupt rather than just smoulder.

I spent a lot of time talking to people yesterday and managed to progress with a much needed medication review ( I am not a great believer in medication but neither can I sit back and watch my child dice with death.) Boy Wonder has such a fabulous medical team that we would be lost without them. To speak to someone on the phone and rant on about odd behaviour presentation and for them to say 'well he does this because....' Is a tremendous relief. It is very clear that the last couple of months have been a result of uncontrolled ADHD symptoms. This is one pig of a condition with such a huge attachment of misunderstanding thrown in.

Boy Wonder's dance teacher hit the nail on the head today as she said to me that he has been very hyper this week but engaging with chit chat. 'However as soon as I instruct him to do something it's like I loose him as he stares into space.' I explained that it is because he is struggling to process and will zone out to try and make sense of the instruction.

His piano tutor who we always joke is as hyper as Boy Wonder spoke to me about Tuesday and I apologised for missing his lesson. He reassured me not to worry and that if it ever happens again not to concerned about the lesson. I thanked him for his understanding. Why do these guys just get it when with others it's like smashing your head against a brick wall? Boy Wonder certainly has some good people on his side.

Over the past couple of days we have been talking more and more to Cat Girl about Boy Wonder's condition and reading the 'My Bother is Different' book from the National Autistic Society. For a four year old she is very insightful and despite being at the brunt of some of Boy Wonder's anxiety she tries so hard to help him. I suppose this is one of the hardest things about having a child with complex needs, ensuring that the sibling also gets the right support. A very fine juggling act indeed!

I spoke with Boy Wonder's school today about the medication increase and asked the supply teacher if she had been updated on the past week? She hadn't so I did the honours in brief and in return she wrote a descriptive account of her morning with Boy Wonder. He is certainly becoming a bit of a handful!

This evening we went to Jiu Jitsu after dance and forgot Boy Wonder's Gi (kit). The Sensi was very good and sorted him out with a spare. He also refrained from the usual lecture to the child about it being their responsibility ..... I think he took one look at us and taking into consideration the matter on Tuesday thought that we had had enough and needed a break!  Seriously though, this is another shining example of the fabulous support Boy Wonder has.

Boy Wonder has just returned from Jiu Jitsu and is fairly settled, he looks exhausted !! ( Join the club !)

Therapists!!

Boy Wonder went to sleep very late last night and as a consequence needed to be woken up this morning. He was very high on waking and difficult to kept on task. He wasn't aware of the impact of yesterday and Car Girl being unsettled around him this morning.

We got to school and I spoke with his teacher regarding the escalation of the incident last night. I explained that I would be talking to his Doctors today for advice and she agreed to use Boy Wonder's morning time to talk through what happened yesterday. Boy Wonder's needs and management of incidents would also be discussed in the staff meeting this evening.

I went off to work and made a few phone calls throughout the day and received some very welcomed support. Boy Wonder's ADHD consultant stated that the description of the incident sounded very much like uncontrolled ADHD symptoms and we spoke about other matters that tied in with this. For example the increase in impulsivity and hyperactivity over the past few weeks. She requested that his ADHD medication is increased immediately and reviewed in a week's time. Superman collected the prescription in the afternoon to start tomorrow.

Boy Wonder's Psychiatrist was unable to bring the appointment forward from December but offered a duty worker if required or if the situation escalates further. I explained the input from his paediatrician and stated that we would see  how things go and call if we needed to.

The art therapist rang this afternoon and wasn't able to change the appointment slot as previously requested by Boy Wonder. We booked a review for next week and discussed briefly the recent difficulties. He was quite surprised but more surprises when I explained the very obvious reduction in anxiety levels after a session of art therapy. He agreed there and then that we would continue if the outcome was so positive.

Finally I spoke with the O.T who sounds fabulous. They are hoping to start work at the end of the month.  And then the day went pear shaped......

I got stuck at work due to an urgent meeting so Superman had to finish early and do the school pick up and clubs. He seemed like he got it all done with little fuss.

Later this evening Boy Wonder spent  hours studying his Minecraft book and although he was thrashing about a bit, he seemed okay.

A Meltdown and Some!

The usual madness to start the day with the added bonus of a Boy Wonder panicking over his kitten going out for the day ( Although they have been let out  for the last couple of days and he hasn't been overly concerned.) a classic example of processing delay I feel!

We arrived at school and realised that it was the book fayre. I explained to Boy Wonder that we could put the books to one side and I would pay for them after school or in the morning due to them being at after school club . Boy Wonder appeared to accept this and picked a book on Mine Craft and Cat Girl picked a book about 'pink.' We put them to one side to pick up later.

I picked them up after school clubs after a day of emails and phone calls about the SEN refusal and meetings etc. we think we have found a suitable O.T who specialises in autism and sensory integration. She is going to call us to arrange a meeting soon.

I arrived at the school and picked Cat Girl up first and then Boy Wonder. As Boy Wonder came out of the classroom he got called back and in front of parents and children and his own teacher got told off for kicking a child. He did the bare minimum to get away from her and ran into the next corridor and curled up on a chair. I explained to his teacher that what had just happened wasn't appropriate and this needed to be dealt with before I took him out of school. She agreed and asked Boy Wonder to come back into the her classroom to talk about it. This was easier said than done and through what seemed like a sea of parents and children I had to practically carry him into the classroom. His teacher attempted to talk to him about the situation but he wasn't processing her long and complicated sentences ( although she was trying to be nice, she was being very wordy.) I let her finish and then spoke to him in shorter sentences and we managed to ascertain that a child had upset him so he became angry and kicked a girl on the leg. The girl hasn't upset him but was the closest person to him at the time. We went through the motions of telling him that it wasn't appropriate and what he should go instead but it was clear that he was struggling and was trying to remove himself from the situation by hiding behind me.

We left the school and no sooner had we got out of the gate Boy Wonder pushed Cat Girl, she pushed him back so he pushed her harder. I herded them into the car but Boy Wonder started to climb into the boot and then over the seats. I settled him down and we put on Starlight Express for him to sing and calm down to. He demanded that Cat Girl didn't sing or make a noise. She of course wasn't happy about this and started to get upset. I reassured her and she started to settle. I explained to Boy Wonder that he could sing but if Cat Girl wanted to sing that was okay too. Within a couple of minutes Cat Girl who had gone quiet suddenly started to cry loudly. I asked her what the matter was but she was too upset to answer. I asked Boy Wonder what had happened and he said calmly that he had hit her over the head with a lump of plastic.  I asked him why he had done this and he became aggressive saying that he had to shut her up, I pulled over in a car park and checked Cat Girl over. There was no mark but she was clearly upset. I moved her into the front seat and then spoke to Boy Wonder who was very fidgety and clearly distressed. I explained to him that he was making the car an unsafe place to be and that at the moment I couldn't carry on driving whilst he was being so aggressive. Boy Wonder said that be needed to go home as if he went to Jiu Jitsu he would hurt some people. He appeared very calm when talking and explained categorically that he was telling me what he would do to hurt others. I told him that I am worried that he will hurt himself or someone else and he agreed. He also said that he couldn't control his anger.

I got out of the car and stood outside of it and  spoke to Superman over the phone and we agreed that I would take him to Jiu Jitsu and explain what had happened and give him the opportunity to thrash it out positively. I got back in the car and explained to Boy Wonder that we were going to  Jiu Jitsu and to allow him to get rid of some energy positively. He didn't seem to react too much to this so I asked him what else had upset him. After a bit of a difficult start he started to tell me that he had fallen out with two friends today, his routine had changed due to an RE day and he wanted his Mine Craft book.

We arrived at Jiu Jitsu and spoke to the Sensi who said that he was happy to work through Boy Wonder's anger with him. When Super Man picked him up later on he appeared happier. Sensi explained that they had had a chat and them went into the session. Boy Wonder had then started to settle. Boy Wonder came home and although appeared calmer was clearly bubbling under the surface. A long night I feel!

The next Messi!!

A typical school morning embraced us and sent us into a whirlwind of madness, all before 8.30! They were going down to the war memorial this morning so the hunt was on to find the poppies bought last  week. We got there eventually and headed off to school.

I spoke to Boy Wonder's teacher about keeping a hold of him whilst walking to the memorial as he is still quite high and erratic. She agreed to keep a close eye on him.

I received a phone call in the afternoon from Boy Wonder's art therapist who asked if we could change the time of his session as Boy Wonder had told him that it clashes with his schedule, in particular gymnastics! It made me smile that he would do this, it shows great initiative,

After football I picked Boy Wonder up and the coach spoke to me again about how talented Boy Wonder is on the field. He told me that it would be a shame to not let him train and that he would come on leaps and bounds. Apparently Boy Wonder has no fear on the pitch and boundless energy. He just goes for the ball and will tackle anyone to get it no matter what their size. I explained that, that was a perk of being autistic/ ADHD, no fear, no sense of danger and endless energy! We said that we would talk about him training but was concerned that the sessions would need to be structured otherwise Boy Wonder would struggle to cope.   We agreed up talk about it next week and take him for a trial.

We picked Cat Girl up and after nipping home to get changed, went swimming. Cat Girl did well again and seems to be enjoying it. Boy Wonder got his 200 metre badge which he was very pleased about.

We came home and watched the Junior Bake Off before bed. After this and speaking to Super Man about the intricate rules of football, Boy Wonder eventually settled down into bed.

Compare, contrast ....

This morning we got up and Superman started to prepare for the bike ride as I got ready to take advantage of the sun shine and clean out the animals. Superman experienced a typical morning of hyper madness and couldn't wait to get out on his bike with Boy Wonder and chill him out!

Cat Girl and I spent the morning outside with the animals and the kittens joined us. It was funny to witness their first encounter with the chickens. There was only going to be one winner there and the kittens realised this, eventually!

We then went in to cook some dinners for the week which included a curry, Spanish chicken and a sausage pasta bake. Cat Girl chopped the mushrooms, her favourite job! After a visit from grandparents she went on to play with her Sylvanian family and ended up playing with this for most of the afternoon. She made up stories, dressed them for whatever they were doing and generally created an afternoon of entertainment for herself. This is a very unusual thing to happen in our house and it took a lot of effort to actually stand back and allow her to play. Boy Wonder has never done this and probably never will, no matter how we help him, no matter what toys he has.  Cat Girl was content and happy, again not a combination that Boy Wonder is familiar with.

Maybe we shouldn't compare our children after all they are all individuals regardless of labels. However the contrast was so remarkable that, well it had to be remarked upon !

Boy Wonder and Superman returned from their 10 mile bike ride. They were very sludged up so Boy Wonder promptly stripped off on the door mat ( no shame!) and went off to get a lengthily shower. He then watched his programmes on the Iplayer.

Boy Wonder and Superman went out again after dinner to get animal feed. I took the opportunity to do the ironing whilst Car Girl played.

This  evening we watched a programme on space whilst Boy Wonder settled down.

Competition Day

An early start to the day due the Jiu Jitsu competition starting at 9am meant that we were all up early and ready to go. Cat Girl was first up in her Sumo competition and out of ten she came joint third and  won a bronze medal. She was one of the smallest and the only girl so it was a fabulous effort. Well done sweetie.

Boy Wonder entered all four competitions and worked very hard. Unfortunately the length of the competition took its toll and he struggled to remain focused and motivated. The pressure of the competition also didn't help and with it being his first he didn't know what to expect. A lot of the children received numerous medals but although Boy Wonder tried hard it just wasn't to be for him. A real shame and a huge knock to his confidence. Boy Wonder said that he felt sad.

We arrived home and Boy Wonder went to his bedroom to play Minecraft. He stayed there for quite a while, until I called him for tea . He ate little and went back to his game. I made him a special pudding of chocolate angel delight, cream and sprinkles which made him smile.

The Grandparents visited this evening and Boy Wonder came downstairs. He seemed a bit brighter but was quick to anger and volatile  throughout the evening. Super Man has promised him a bike ride in the morning which cheered him up and after watching TV for a while he started to settle down.

Impulsivity and the Friday Feeling

Boy Wonder was up very early this morning and had washed and dressed himself for school before 6.30am. He then bounced into his room and started to play loudly. I went in to see what he was up to and he had made a little hammock and hooked it to the underside of his bed and was swinging in it. He then shouted that he could hang himself and promptly went to wrap it around his neck! I stopped him promptly and pointed out that he could really hurt himself going this . It was clear that Boy Wonder had no concept of the danger of this at all. I removed the offending item and we went downstairs fur breakfast.

Amazingly we were still rushing around even though we had an early start. Boy Wonder was complaining of tummy ache so went into the conservatory to run around and generally distract himself!

At school I spoke to his teacher about the incident this morning, explaining that I was concerned due to it being an impulsive act rather than a low mood response and asked her to keep an eye on him.  I then informed her of the SEN decision which seemed to surprise her a little.

I emailed a few of Boy Wonder's medical / support team today to notify them of the decision.  I didn't do anything further with it being Friday and not much happens on Fridays!

Boy Wonder had another unsettled day at school, complaining of headache and tummy aches. However this settled during the afternoon as it was play activities. Super Man then took him to get his hair cut after school.

Cat Girl informed us this evening that she is a star in the Christmas play. We told her that she would make a very good star :-)

They both have a JiuJitsu competition tomorrow which they are looking forward to. I just hope that we can get there for a 9 am start!

Decisions, Decisions ........

We saw more of last night than most nights due to a double whammy. Cat Girl had hit her throat on the rocking bike and grazed herself by falling onto it and we were worried about any delayed swelling through the night and Boy Wonder was just very unsettled.   Cat Girl slept a lot better than we did and looked a lot better this morning with just a small graze. Boy Wonder had set all alarms to wake us for 6am so that he and Cat Girl could give us our wedding anniversary card. However Boy Wonder didn't wake up so we had to get up to keep turning them off!

At 7am we were all awake and the children presented us with their cards and a fun size packet of  Haribo's each. Very cute! They then got in our bed and played the roll over game which resulted in them being in our bed and us being kicked out.

Super Man went to work and I went through the usual madness of getting ready for school. Boy Wonder is getting considerably more difficult to get ready in the morning, especially the basics of dressing and eating breakfast. By the time we got to school I felt like my head was going to explode as Boy Wonder was not processing clearly and was high and impulsive. Coupled with more sleep deprivation than usual, not a great mix!

I spoke to a stand in teacher about Boy Wonder's uniform shredding yesterday who seemed to think it amusing ( I don't need to tell you that I didn't!) anyway we got past that and after explaining to Cat Girl's teacher about her incident last night, I left them to it .

I spoke with Boy Wonder's paediatrician today about how he is presenting and she brought his appointment forward to mid November.

After school we went to dance and Jiu Jitsu but due to being quite forgetful today, had to nip home first for Cat Girl's Gi. And there it was on the doorstep .......

The statutory assessment decision had arrived, six weeks before its deadline. That's where the excitement ends though. Boy Wonder has been refused a statement of special educational needs and the recommendations listed are what is already being done! I can't say that we are surprised. It would have been nice to have had a little acknowledgement for his complex needs but clearly that was too much to expect.

Boy Wonder had complained of tummy ache at dance so ended up coming home and missing Jiu Jitsu. Reading his school diary he had, had a rough day and needed a fair bit of support to settle. Welcome to our world!!

Super Man settled the children and I went to the school volunteers meeting and carried on regardless with the view that no matter how we decide to move forward with Boy Wonder's education, the children still need a Christmas Fayre and Santa.

When I returned, Cat Girl was fast asleep and Boy Wonder  was wide awake and continues to be......

An Incredible Hulk Kinda Day!!

The intensity of the day before spilt into today and the morning routine was again turned on its head. How we got to school this morning is anyone's guess! I spoke with his teacher briefly about yesterday evening before leaving them to their day.

I picked Boy Wonder and Cat Girl up after school. Boy Wonder was reported to have been quite low in mood today. He was also very tetchy and generally unsettled when I got there. He had ripped the buttons off of his polo shirt and torn the bottom of one trouser leg and wrapped it around his big toe and foot inside his shoe. It looked very painful. I unravelled him and reassured him that it was okay as by this point he was becoming panicky about getting  in trouble. I asked Boy Wonder why he had ripped his clothes and he replied that he was bored and angry but wouldn't disclose anything further.

We went home, got changed and went over to music theatre group. Cat Girl went to Jiu Jitsu. Boy Wonder seemed a bit happier by now but not in a settled way. He seemed to be struggling to concentrate at all.

On arrival home, Super Man spoke to Boy Wonder about his uniform and told him that it was wrong to do what he did. Later on Boy Wonder told me that he wasn't bored or angry but did it to impress his girlfriend. I asked him what she thought about what he did and he stated that she didn't think anything as she didn't see him do it. Okay so he was bored and angry but was trying to find a better reason for doing what he did!

It was another late night tonight for Boy Wonder as he couldn't settle. I would love to know what goes on in his head!

Complicated Child!

The morning started in the usual fashion, a lengthily shower followed by a run around the house in the buff to 'dry off!' Getting him to eat breakfast was a huge chore and putting coat and shoes on for school, an impossible task! I am sure that most days I go to work for a rest.

We got to school and put the bags away. Boy Wonder ran off into the playground with just his fleece and didn't seem at all concerned about the rain starting to fall. The bell went and he bounced into the line to go into class.

Boy Wonder stayed for science club today and Cat Girl went to after school club. I picked them up and went off to Boy Wonder's piano lesson.  Boy Wonder ran out of school and immediately hid. When he does this I know that I am in for a rough ride! We got into the car and he shouted, thrashed around and generally lost all ability to control himself. We drove to piano where he calmed down enough to attend. Afterwards I asked the tutor how he got on, he stated that it was one of those days where he felt Boy Wonder didn't take in anything  but he will probably find next week that he retained everything ! I know what he means by that, complicated child !!

After Jiu Jitsu Boy Wonder came home and watched football on TV. He didn't appear settled and went into a repeatative rant about school monitors and not doing this anymore. There was no reasoning with him about this as he couldn't explain what was upsetting him. Will have to get more information on this tomorrow.

We had some good news today as Boy Wonder's MRI scan came back with no additional abnormalities other than the existing Chiari Malformation. That's one thing less to worry about at least!

Pointless Project!

Back to school today. It all started in the usual fashion - refusal to get up, an age to get him out of the shower and attempting breakfast whilst bouncing off of the walls.

We arrived at school and had a quick catch up with his teacher before the bell went. Boy Wonder was  in high spirits but had written in his star and a wish book before school that he wished there was no school.

Today Boy Wonder had art therapy in the afternoon. He stated that he enjoyed the session as they are making a puppet theatre. He doesn't give much away as to what they talk about but he certainly comes out chilled and free of anxiety so it is doing something right!

There was no football today so Boy Wonder came home first before swimming. We collected Cat Girl from after school club a little later and went swimming. They both did well in their lessons .

Later this evening we asked Boy Wonder how his first day back at school was? He stated that it was boring and the new project was boring, I asked him what the project was and he stated ' Shadows! What's the point in that?! A shadow is created from the shape of the object which is blocking the sun's rays and that's it, project done!' Oh, I said.

Boy Wonder settled down and watched Horrible Histories before bed. He seems fairly settled for a first day back, got to love art therapy!

Kitten training anxiety

Whatever the children got up to yesterday it wore them out. Neither of them got up until 9am! This is unheard of! We had a slow morning, just getting things ready for school and tidying up mainly.

Boy Wonder played Mindcraft and did this for quite some time. We then had lunch and went out to a couple of shops. Super man showed Boy Wonder some electronics sets to try and gage his interest ( for Santa.) he seemed to really like the circuit board and the laser guns! We finished off in a 'rammel' shop ( cheap and cheerful) and he bought a Bop It ( as apparently this will calm him down!) and a DVD on a dolphin story. He is obsessed with Dolphins at the moment.  Boy Wonder also searched the shop for a kitten tracking device but didn't find anything suitable ( strangely!)

We came home and spent some time kitten training, getting them to use the new cat flap. Boy Wonder became quite panicky about his cat being out alone and possibly going near the road. We agreed that he could watch him but not chase after him. Later on, Kitten in one piece and Boy Wonder hugely relieved, he set about doing his homework. This entailed looking out of the window for 5 minutes and doing a tally of the different animals / creatures you see. I have to say that the result was true genius. Boy Wonder sat himself in the conservatory and simply counted the pets. 5 chickens, 3 rabbits and 1 fly that was on the window! Job done and not a great deal that I could add to that.

This evening we watched the dolphin film that they both really enjoyed. They sat there with the toy cats purchased from Hamley's yesterday as well as Boy Wonder's cuddly dolphin. He couldn't quite get it into his head that it was based on a true story and asked lots of questions over and over again. As the evening wore on this became a theme. Watching a science programme about replicating a planet, Boy Wonder couldn't grasp the concept at all. He became agitated and intense with his questioning. He then used his phone to find dolphin experiences and started pleading with us to take him. I said that we would look at it.

Eventually he wore himself out and fell to sleep on the sofa. Back to school tomorrow !

Curious Incident...,.

This could be a very short blog post today as I have only seen Boy Wonder for 15 minutes this morning! This is because Super Man took me to London today to watch a show and have dinner. Super Gran looked after the children and could probably write her own blog on their busy day.

Then I thought that I could tell you about the show. Super Man had bought tickets for 'Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night Time.' An adaptation of Mark Haddon's fictional book on a boy with Asperger Syndrome.

Mark Haddon wrote the story based on his own experiences working with individuals with additional needs, collating this into a character for his book. He states in the programme that he never intended the book to become a tool for illustrating an autistic spectrum condition presentation to joe public or indeed to health care / education professionals but it has done exactly this!

The performance moved its audience to tears. People were crying in the interval, having to be consoled. Parents brought their teenagers with autism to see the show, families of people with autism were there, students .... It was a remarkable mix of folks.

And what made it so good? Well number one - it was entirely fictional. Aside from that the beautifully simple illustration of the literal mind coupled with allowing the audience to feel sensory over load over and over again. The quick change from happy boy to sheer meltdown boy within minutes, remarkable intelligence mixed with total lack of empathy.  It was like seeing our life on stage in someways and I am guessing that everyone felt that due to the amount of emotion flooding the theatre.

We came out feeling emotional and exhausted but understanding more about our boy. You never stop learning I guess. We went for some retail therapy in Hamley's and then off to China Town for dinner. It was at this point we relaxed. What tickled us however was a large Chinese family sat behind us eating their food, dressed in Woolley hats, scarves and coats! What a diverse world we live in!

Trick or Treat!!

We got up fairly early today as Boy Wonder was going to a play session at Club Inspire. We got ready, made his packed lunch and left. Cat Girl and I were going to the Dentist afterwards for a check up.  As we dropped Boy Wonder off, Cat Girl became very pale and said that she felt sick. Not looking too great, I rang the dentist and asked them if I should bring her? Absolutely not was the gist of the response so we got away with it for another day! I took her to Grandad's for a chill day and went to work.

This evening we went trick or treating with a group of friends around one of the local estates. There must have been about fifty children out on this estate, it was so busy! Boy Wonder was very on edge, running off in front, shouting and generally becoming overstimulated by the whole thing. He finished the evening by running off and hiding behind a hedge as he had missed a house where the smaller children had been given a few coppers. Shortly after we returned home and whilst I went to the local pub for pre birthday drinks, Boy Wonder semi settled in his room awaiting my return !

The following morning Boy Wonder was woken by Cat Girl to wish me a happy birthday!! They had made some wonderful cards and bought me a very nice jumper and some fabulous wellies ( too nice to do the gardening in!) We then got up and ready as Boy Wonder was spending the day with his. 1:1 worker, going swimming.

Boy Wonder appeared to enjoy his and later family came over for  take away. He played with his cousin, mainly on Minecraft and came downstairs only when he had bitten off his wart on his hand again and it was bleeding quite a bit!

After some tea and more play everyone went home and Boy Wonder went back upstairs to finidh Minecraft. After an hour he fell to sleep. A tired boy!
