Sliding and Zorbing

Cat Girl took it upon herself to ask everyone if they wanted to go to the aqua park again, nobody could resist her persuasion so off we went. It is getting hotter each day and the water now feels warm.
Boy Wonder and Cat Girl spent the morning in the splash pool with just the two 'cold' episodes from Boy Wonder. He is now experiencing head aches with them on the right side which is a little concerning, either a dull ache or like he has been hit on the head ( as he described it) lasting between 5-10 minutes.

We went for lunch do that Boy Wonder could spend a bit of time with the toaster and then returned to the aqua park to go on the water slides. Boy Wonder was quite miffed that he couldn't go on two of the slides as he was too small. Super Man and I tried them out to see what all the height restriction fuss was about. Jeez they were so bad they made us swear!! Luckily hardly anyone could understand what we were saying! We explained to Boy Wonder that on this occasion the restrictions were appropriate as he didn't seem to gage this from our reaction!
On the way back to the splash pool, Boy Wonder went very cold again and said that he had a headache like he had been hit at the side of the head. He stayed out of the water for some time on this occasion.

This evening we had booked a table in one of the restaurants. This particular one was a traditional Bulgarian restaurant with a set menu of 5 courses and no children's options. However Boy Wonder really took to the experience and tried everything. We were very impressed. He even encouraged Cat Girl to do the same and she did okay. The menu consisted of a soft cheese salad, bean soup, rice in vine leaf, potato cakes, pork and fries and pink biscuit cake. It made a nice change from the madness of the buffet restaurant.

After the restaurant Boy Wonder and Cat Girl went 'zorbing' on the pool. This consisted of getting into a big inflatable ball and rolling around the swimming pool. A bit claustrophobic for my liking but they love it and it expels energy! Boy Wonder spent the entire time singing 'Kumbayar My Lord' whilst in his Zorb but these things are very sound proof so we didn't hear a thing! There was also a bouncy castle and trampoline and we agreed that they could pick one activity each evening to spread the cost. Cat Girl understood this, Boy Wonder didn't! This resulted in a lengthily discussion involving calculation and currency conversion to illustrate the point. He then got it.
We ended the evening at the arcade bar, all chilled and settled.

  1. Sounds great again. Stu and I went to Sofia (capital) once and ordered what we thought was tomato soup but bit was cold and green. Stu wasn't impressed. We always ate really well there normally. Zorbing sounds great fun xx
