Bones on the Beach?

A late morning and a late breakfast was in order today. Afterwards I had a chat with the holiday rep about support at the airport on the way home, which would be in a few days. He had it all in hand but recommended another taxi as the trip to the airport during the day, picking up from other hotels would take up to two hours in the coach. This would be cut down to forty minutes in a taxi. We agreed that this would be the better option and was told a price that we should expect to pay locally.

We spent the day at the aqua park but this morning the water was cold so Boy Wonder and Cat Girl took some persuading to get in. We left for lunch, hoping that it would be warmer on our return.

At lunch time, Boy Wonder was getting more adventurous with his friend the toaster and made cheese on toast. This was quite an achievement as the cheese here is the rubber variety! However it looked impressive enough for Cat Girl to request a slice so off he went to make another.

The water was a lot warmer this afternoon so we all got in and had a swim, played on the slides and in the splash pool. We even attempted the outside gym in the afternoon heat! Boy Wonder had two further 'cold' episodes today where he further complained of having an all over headache and seeing silver flashes in his eyes. Again this lasted just a few minutes but seemed odd.

We went out of the complex to eat tonight. Boy Wonder chose a pork steak. The menu was set up so you ordered everything separately but Boy Wonder stated that he was only having pork steak and nothing else because the menu didn't say that he needed to order anything else! Luckily the pork steak was huge and he ate it all. Super Man removed the bone for him which Boy Wonder wanted to keep. We managed to persuade him that this wasn't a good idea and that maybe he could look for bones on the beach or something? Mmm.

The food was very nice and made a change. We then went back to the complex to meet our off road friends as this was their last night. Boy Wonder played with his little friend for quite a while, mainly with fire crackers which kept them both fascinated for ages!
