Getting Giddier.....

A very unsettled Boy Wonder last night resulted in two tired children this morning. Today, Boy Wonder is at holiday club. He drags his feet this morning and clearly is not feeling happy about going.  He has either lost interest after last week's upset or is distracted by the pending holiday.

It transpired as the day went on that I was inaccurate in my description of Boy Wonder's mood.  On collecting him from holiday club, the staff inform me that he has disclosed watching 'naughties' on You Tube involving snogging. He has also become very vocal and pushing the boundaries. The latter is likely to be a reaction to Friday and him trying to reconfirm boundaries, however the first matter will require further investigation! Before leaving, I sign an accident form where he has been hit around the head with a tennis racket. Quite a nasty bruise that required a cold compress and 10 minutes rest, although according to Boy Wonder it was actually 5 minutes!

I took Boy Wonder for his swimming lesson and informed his instructor of his bruised head before the lesson started. She kept a closer eye on him but he was fine. A lot of good swimming today, back stroke and skulling mainly.

This evening Super Man and I went through Boy Wonder's search history on his lap top. 'Snogging' had indeed slipped through the parental control in place and the videos were not ideal. We decided that we would attempt consequence again and explained to him that the lap top would be removed until after the holiday as it requires a reset. Boy Wonder seemed to understand this and said sorry.

An early night is in order tonight to catch up on missed sleep. The holiday excitement is building and both Boy Wonder and Cat Girl are getting giddier!!
