The Start of the Holidays.

The school holidays started off with an early morning start as Boy Wonder was off out with his worker for the day and Cat Girl went to grandparents. I left to go to work and on my return they were both settling down watching T.V. Cat Girl had had a really nice day painting her tea set and playing. Boy Wonder said that he had been swimming but not to the planned place as it was shut. He said that he enjoyed himself but wouldn't engage further.

Superman went out for the evening and I wrapped presents to send to Santa. Boy Wonder was still wide awake reading and showed no sign of tiring. I finished what I was doing about midnight and went to check on Boy Wonder, still wide awake! He became quite agitated when I asked him again to go to sleep, saying that he couldn't. He came into bed with me and after ten minutes of firm hold  he was asleep. When Superman returned he moved him back into his bed.

Boy Wonder got up at 9am and appeared high and distracted. We got him ready and I took him to dance.  His mood altered to quiet and disengaged, choosing to listen to music on his phone rather than  talk.   After dance we went to get his hair cut and the hairdresser commented that he wasn't his  usual self. A bit too quiet!

After lunch we went to the theatre's Christmas fayre where Boy Wonder and Cat Girl went to see Santa. Boy Wonder became more excitable here although backed away from being touched by Santa when I took a photo as he put his arm round him.  He found some wrestlers on a stall and played with them for the remainder of the time. He then failed to engage with children that  he knew even if they spoke directly to him. We left after about an hour and walked back to the car. Just as we were getting into the car Boy Wonder realised that he had lost a wrestler. He attempted to bolt and I only just caught hold of him.We retraced our steps and found it outside the theatre in the fake snow.

We went on to the cousins to take some Christmas things. Boy Wonder played with his cousin and her friend on Minecraft for all the time we were there.   We then went straight on to friends who had just moved. They had settled in well. Superman taught them the art of fire lighting as we caught up. Boy Wonder spoke to his friend about Minecraft as she said that she wanted it from Santa

We came home and whilst I went out again and completed the Christmas food shop, Superman settled the children down. Again, Boy Wonder is wide awake reading books.
