The last day of school before breaking up for Christmas plus no uniform day. Does this equal an easier morning routine? No! The morning was crazier than ever with any same day, same routine structure going out of the window due to the lack of school type clothing and equipment required .
I dropped them off at school armed with cakes for their Christmas parties and then left after dropping into the conversation that Boy Wonder was slightly excitable ( bouncing off of the walls!)
We had a few email responses today stating that they had received the OT report. The OT confirmed attendance at the next meeting as did the link worker for Boy Wonder and sessional worker. Looking likes good attendance so far.
After school, Boy Wonder went to dance whilst Cat Girl and I went to buy the last of the family Christmas presents. When we picked him up he was told that he had passed his tap dance exam with distinction. Very impressive! Boy Wonder stated however that tap is easy so of course he did well! I think you undersell yourself a bit there Boy Wonder!
We went to cousin's house to celebrate her birthday, gave presents, sang happy birthday and then had to leave to get to the carol concert on time.
Boy Wonder was singing with his music / drama group tonight at the adjoining church. Boy Wonder sang two solos which he did very well. He also sang quite a few others with his group. The whole concert did extremely well and kept us entertained until late.
Once home we all went to bed as it was very, very late. Good job here is no school tomorrow!
