Mini Designer.

It would appear that we have a mini designer in our midst. Like Father like Son! Boy Wonder came downstairs last night with a drawing of his bedroom done on his laptop. We were very impressed to say the least.  Unfortunately this resulted in a late night but nothing new there.

The morning routine was a little different as I had a two day first aid refresher to attend. Boy Wonder and Cat Girl were booked into breakfast club. This meant that we had to get up earlier and get out of the house 20 minutes earlier. Doesn't sound too difficult but in this house, a near impossible task!

We got to breakfast club at 8.30am which was ten minutes before school started, however I managed to get to the course just on time.  The instructor was a first aid veteran, full of stories and a bit of a rambler.  I made the mistake of telling that I am a trainer as part of my role so he scrutinised everything I did! He also has an autistic grandson - you can sort of guess how the day went!

I picked Boy Wonder and Cat Girl up from school. Cat Girl seemed to have a good day ( no accidents ) and she made pizza which she enjoyed.  Boy Wonder seemed to have spent the day in the toilets and searching for his fleece.  His teacher said that he had been up and down most of the day and was quite preoccupied by losing his fleece. He had also head butted the railings somehow!

We went to piano. The new seating arrangements in the car seemed to help tonight as Boy Wonder was quite stressy, banging the seats and holding his ears, rocking. He enjoyed piano and came home and played with the boy next door in the garden until it got dark.

Boy Wonder was still quite unsettled when settling down, even the bake off didn't seem to do the trick tonight. He went upstairs and watched more Horrible Histories on Iplayer.

  1. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to hearing about bw's attempts at making a signature bake. Glad CG had a better day xx
