The Night Monster

Yesterday Boy Wonder spent the day with his 1:1 going swimming and on the tram. He seemed to enjoy his day although he started out being quite apprehensive due to feeling unwell. He was complaining of tummy ache and was panicky. He was telling himself that he was a bad boy and hitting himself in the face and banging his head against the wall.

Cat Girl spent trhe day with grandparents and on her return home her friend came to play. She hadn't seen her friend since nursery so it was nice for them to get back together. Boy Wonder came home and hid himself away in his bedroom away from the noise of girls playing.

In the evening Boy Wonder became restless and went up and down stairs until finally settling in the early hours.

This morning Boy Wonder had to be woken up to go to club Inspire. He appeared very tired and panicky. Whilst getting dressed he complained of a rash on his chest which was a friction burn from the floats used at swimming yesterday. Cat Girl got up and Biker Gramps came to take them to clubs.

I picked Boy Wonder up from dance and we came home. He appeared quiet yet agitated. He refused to go to football and seemed off it in general.

Later on after tea, I spoke with Boy Wonder who said that he was scared of the 'Night Monster' who had sharp teeth and claws that rip you skin. I asked him how he knew about the monster and he said that he could see it and hear it. ( Boy Wonder's main bulb had blown in his bedroom tonight so this may have instigated the monster, as it was darker than usual.) I told him that I would sleep with him tonight and he didn't argue. He has a day at the local football club tomorrow so needs to get some rest.
