Gruffalo

After another reasonable night's sleep Boy Wonder woke by himself at 9am and went into the shower. He was his usual hyper self for the first half an hour but then settled.

We went to see The Gruffalo at the theatre this morning much to Boy Wonder's disgust. I explained that Cat Girl really wanted to see it and he should treat it as an opportunity to see how different performances are played out. He accepted this and off we went. The performance was in fact better than what we thought it would be and even Boy Wonder joined in with the shouty bits.

We came home for dinner and then took Cat Girl horse riding. I took Boy Wonder some football cards to look at and sort whilst we were there. However when this was finished he seemed to withdraw. I attempted to re engage him but he appeared low and showed little interest in what I had to say.

We arrived home and whilst they played outside, I got tea ready as Super Gran, Biker Gramps and little cousin were visiting. The afternoon was lovely, playing outside in the sun. Boy Wonder initially tried to take charge of the play but after a while he settled when he realised that two little girls were not going to listen to him at all.

They had tea, played some more before coming inside as it became dark. They then played on the Wii and in the play room.

After a bath, Boy Wonder and Superman  watched Top Gear before Boy Wonder came up to bed.
