Appointments

We had to get ready earlier this morning due to an early appointment. Boy Wonder was his usual manic self yet Cat Girl was streaming with cold and was tearful. She seemed to settle a bit after the magic pink medicine and I decided on letting her go to school with Grandparent back up if she needed collecting.

Boy Wonder had a morning session with his OT at school which was scheduled to teach the staff exercises for vestibular and pro preoccptive senses. She reported that Boy Wonder appeared tense but did participate. She left them a twice daily programme to try and write up progress / concerns. We are to do the same too, to gage its effectiveness.

I picked Boy Wonder up from school after lunch to go for his hospital appointment with his autism/ ADHD specialist. She as very thorough as we talked through all of the matters of recent weeks. They have requested that they refer him to a sleep disorder clinic in London. They are not wanting to use other medication alternatives without further investigation due to his high anxiety and neurology history. She altered his ADHD  medication from a 12 hour slow release to an 8 hour window. This is in hope tha the medication will be out of his system by night time.

We went off to drama which upset Boy Wonder a bit due to him getting confused about the play they were doing. He was a lit happier on collecting him though.

He settled down this evening after his bath and watched England play football
